Procedure: Content Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm up: - Ask and answer Where someone is from Pairs 3.Listen and tick: - Look at the pictures 1,2,3,4 ask and answer the questions: who, what, where, ...... - Listen and tick: play the record, listen and tick. -Check: 1-c, 2-b, 3-c - Play the record, listen and repeat Whole class, individuals, pairs, groups, perform 4. Look and write - How we are going to write the words of where someone is from - Look at the pictures: who, what, where, when, ...... ? Where is Tony from ........? - Look and write. - Check - Ask to role-play. individuals, pairs, groups, 5. Let’s sing - Show the song on the board. - Tell students that they are going to sing - Play the tape - Ask students to sing in group, pairs, individual. - Have the whole class sing the song again to reinforce their pronunciation. Procedure: Content Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm up: Sing the song groups 1. listen and repeat - Now Students we are going to learn the pronunciation of the letter j, v; Japan, Vietnamese; I’m from Japan. Let’s chant - Ask to look at the picture with the chant from page 16 written on it on the board. -Play the recording all the way through for Students to listen as they read. clap the syllables. - Play the recording again for Students to repeat each line of the chant and clap the syllables. - Ask Students to work in group. - Ask to chant.
