Point and say - Have sts see the pictures and identify the days of the week. - Let sts repeat the words - Let Ss practice - Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class What day is it today? Thursday - Guide sts how to play the game “ Slap the board ” Monday Wednesday - Practice the dialogue again and recite the new words, and remember the meaning of them. - Asking Ps to focus on the structure once again. - Retell the content of the lesson. - Do exercises in the workbook. Look and write - Have pupils look at the sentences and the table (p19) then guess the suitable words to fill. - Call on some Ss to report the answers. - Guide ss to complete the exercise. - Have ss read aloud the sentences they have written. - Check and correct. Task 5. Let’s sing - Ask Ss to say the name of the song - Let sts look at the words of the song then read aloud - Play the recording - Guide sts to read each line of the song - Play the recording - Ask one group of 6 in front of the class sings, the rest clap the hands - Have whole class sing the song again - Practice speaking part 3 again - Asking Ps to focus on the structure once again. - Retell the content of the lesson. - Do exercises in the workbook. Knowledge: - Ask and answer question about weekly activities. - Pupils can ask and answer about each other’s weekly activities. - Sentence Patterns: What do you do on ____? − I ____. - Vocabulary: go to school, go to the zoo, help my parents, listen to music, watch TV, play the guitar, go swimming, visit my friends, play football, visit my grandparents 2.
